How to Get Your Product Listed on Amazon Canada

By Scott Nguyen · Sep 8, 2025 · 1 min read

Amazon Canada is the dominant marketplace in Canada, representing one of the fastest paths to Canadian market access for brands already on Amazon US — or Canadian brands building their marketplace presence.

North America Unified Account

Amazon's North America Unified Account lets you manage US, Canada, and Mexico from a single Seller Central interface. Products listed in the US can be made available on Amazon Canada through the Build International Listings tool.

Canadian Compliance Requirements

Products sold in Canada must comply with Canadian regulatory requirements — including bilingual labelling (English and French) required for Quebec and best practice nationally. Verify compliance before listing.

FBA Canada vs Cross-Border Fulfillment

Sending inventory to Canadian fulfillment centres provides fastest delivery and Prime eligibility. Cross-border fulfillment from US FBA results in slower delivery and reduced Prime eligibility. For significant Canadian volume, local FBA is the right approach.

The fix: If you're already on Amazon US, log into Seller Central and navigate to Inventory → Sell Globally → North America to review what's required to activate your Canadian account.
