How to Manage Your Amazon Account Health Dashboard

By Scott Nguyen · Oct 13, 2025 · 1 min read

Amazon's Account Health Dashboard is the scorecard for your selling privileges. Poor metrics can suppress listings, restrict your account, or terminate it.

The Metrics That Matter Most

Order Defect Rate must stay below 1% — it includes negative feedback, A-to-Z claims, and credit card chargebacks. Late Shipment Rate must stay below 4% for FBM sellers. Pre-Fulfillment Cancellation Rate must stay below 2.5%.

Monitor Daily, Not Weekly

Account Health metrics can deteriorate quickly. A spike in A-to-Z claims over a long weekend can push your ODR above threshold before you can respond. Check your Account Health Dashboard daily.

Respond to Every Buyer Message Within 24 Hours

Fast response to buyer issues — before they escalate to A-to-Z claims — is your best tool for protecting your ODR. A buyer who gets a helpful response within hours rarely files a claim.

The fix: Log into your Account Health Dashboard today. If any metric is yellow or red, investigate immediately. If everything is green, set a daily reminder to check — five minutes a day is the right cadence.
