How to Use Amazon Brand Analytics to Make Smarter Business Decisions

By Scott Nguyen · Jul 7, 2025 · 1 min read

Amazon Brand Analytics contains some of the most valuable market intelligence available to product businesses. Most sellers log in once and never go back. Here's how to extract real value.

Search Terms Report

Shows the most searched terms in your category, ranked by frequency. More importantly, shows the top three clicked ASINs for each search term — telling you which competitors are winning each keyword and how much conversion they're capturing.

Market Basket Analysis

Shows which products are most frequently purchased together with yours. Gold for bundle creation, cross-sell strategy, and identifying complementary products to add to your catalogue.

Item Comparison and Alternate Purchase

Shows which products shoppers view alongside yours before purchasing. These are your real competitors — the ones Amazon's data shows buyers actually comparing you against.

The fix: Log into Brand Analytics and pull the Search Terms report for your top product's primary keyword. Identify the top three converting ASINs and analyze what they're doing differently in their listings.
