How to Use Amazon Vine to Generate Reviews for New Products

By Scott Nguyen · Feb 23, 2026 · 1 min read

Amazon Vine provides your products to trusted reviewers in exchange for honest reviews. For new products needing social proof quickly, Vine is the most reliable mechanism Amazon offers — available to brand-registered sellers.

How Vine Works

You enrol up to 30 units in the Vine program. Amazon's Vine Voices — reviewers with a track record of helpful, detailed reviews — can request your product free in exchange for an honest review. Amazon charges a fee per parent ASIN (currently $200 USD).

Set Realistic Expectations

Vine reviewers are honest — they will write negative reviews if the product merits them. Enrolling a product with a genuine quality problem will generate reviews that reflect that problem. Ensure your product is genuinely ready before enrolling.

When Vine Is Most Valuable

Most valuable for new product launches needing review velocity quickly, and for products that have been reformulated or significantly updated — the new version can be enrolled to rebuild review credibility.

The fix: Identify your newest product ASIN with fewer than 15 reviews. If you're brand registered, enrol it in Vine. The $200 fee for 30 potential reviews is one of the lowest cost-per-review investments available on Amazon.
